The VCTSY series ultra-temperature subsurface safety valves are tubing retrievable surface controlled subsurface safety valves. Different from the conventional subsurface safety valve, the body and the dynamic seal assembly of this product adopt the VCTSY patent design. A metal to metal seal is adopted without using any elastomer or high molecular materials.

The installation and application of this product is the same as that of the standard products. The safety valve is connected to the surface through the control line. Having been transmitted through the control line from surface, the pressure acts upon the metal sealing mechanism of the safety valve. Then, the specially designed drive mechanism pushes the flow tube to open the valve. Upon the bleeddown of the pressure from surface, the closure can be promptly achieved under the action of the spring.
