Intumescent Halogen - Free Coating Auxiliary Agents Water - Based Fire Retardant

This is water - based organic flame retardant,a amorphous white crystalline powder,which doesn’t consist of halogens and heavy metals.During using,the fireproof wood products have long-lasting flame-retardant properties, no heat, light decomposition, no hydrolysis and loss, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, and their physical and technological properties are not affected.Besides,tactile and regulatory environmental characteristics are also basically the same as the original wood.

Flame - Retardant Mechanisms:

Creation of an oxygen-isolating layer.
Supplementation and stabilization of generated active radicals and suppression of combustible gas generation.
Removal of heat away from combustibles (endothermic reactions).
Carbonization of burning portions to immobilize them and isolate heat and oxygen.
Generation of inactive gases and dilution of combustible gases.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

It is intumescent, single component, integrated with acid source, carbon source and gas source together, which contain N-P cage macromolecule. Environmental friendly,non-toxic,can instead of classical system(which consists of ammonium polyphosphate, melamine, pentaerythritol system). They are added to flammable materials—such as wood, plastic, paper, rubber, or fibers—to make them less likely to catch fire or to prevent the spread of fire. Some materials used in buildings, household goods, daily necessities, and electronics such as household appliances, can be sources of fires or lead to fire spreading.

With most applications, you can fire retard the material yourself—as long as you closely follow the application instructions. Because our products are non-toxic and odorless, you can use a garden sprayer or an airless paint sprayer to apply our liquid fire retardants. Also, since most of our products are penetrants, you don’t have to check a mil thickness.

How do I know if it has been applied correctly to my fabric?

When it comes to fabric, the only way to truly know whether the product was applied correctly is to perform the NFPA 705 field test after the application. This test utilizes a kitchen match, kitchen tongs, and a small swatch of the fabric, and accurately indicates sufficient saturation.
