Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is a new type of high molecular
elastomer with environmentally friendly has excellent performances
such as low smoke, flame retardant and non-toxicity. Silicone
coated fiber glass has high insulation performance, excellent heat
aging resistance and weather resistance. It is firmly combined with
the glass fiber and is a high-performance, multi-purpose new
material, and has been widely used in aerospace, construction,
chemical, large-scale power generation equipment etc..

Properties:
(1)High Strength: The strength of monofilament is: alkali-free
glass fiber 3.12GPa, medium alkali 5# glass fiber 2.68GPa, high
strength 2# fiberglass 4GPa. The strength of the glass fiber varies
depending on various factors, such as the finer the diameter of the
monofilament, the higher the tensile strength.
(2) Elongation The elongation of glass fibers is generally 3% to
4%, which is much smaller than other natural and synthetic fibers.
(3) High & Low temperature resistance: from -50~260℃
(4) Chemical corrosion : can withstand the corrosion of strong
acids, alkalis, aqua regia and various organic solvents.
(5).Low thermal conductivity: 0.035W/M·K—0.045 W/M·K±0.005(Room
temperature)
Application:
1.Temperature resistance: as fire blanket, fire curtain,
temperature resistant flame retardant material
2.Anti-corrosion: Silicone rubber coated glass fiber cloth can be
used as a pipeline, saving internal and external anti-corrosion
layer, it is an ideal anti-corrosion material because of the
excellent anti-corrosion performance and high strength.
3.Other fields: Silicone coated glass fiber membrane structural
materials can be applied to building sealing materials, high
temperature anticorrosive conveyor belts, packaging materials and
other fields.
