Micro pumps for pumping are divided into two categories: gas
sampling pumps and micro vacuum pumps. Although they are usually
referred to simply as miniature vacuum pumps without distinction,
they are different from each other in a technical point of view and
should be chosen with special attention.
In short, the gas sampling pump can only carry a small load (i.e.,
the pump suction end’s resistance can not be too big, but the price
is cheap; in the strict sense, the miniature vacuum pump can carry
a large load (the suction end allows large resistance, or even
completely clogged up, but the price is slightly higher. The
resistance of the pump can be measured by means of instrument.
Comparing it with the por of maximum allowable resistance of air
inlet in the pump's technical parameter, we can know whether the
type selection is appropriate or not. It is usually determined by a
simple method based on experience. For example, the following
conditions are of high load (that is, the pumping end of the pump
has greater resistance and can only be selected within the scope of
the miniature vacuum pump):
1. At the pumping end of the pump to be connected to a very long
pipe, or pipe bending points, severe bending will even block
closed, or the pipe has a very small hole (for example, less than φ
2 mm);
2. There are throttle valves, solenoid valves, air path switches,
filters and other components on the pipeline;
3. The pump outlet is connected with the closed container, or the
container is not airtight but the air intake is small;
4. The pump outlet is connected with the closed container, or the

5. The pumping end of the pump is connected to the filter
container, which is used to speed up liquid filtration.
