Sound Proof Partitions Feature:
1.Smart use of space – Movable walls offer a flexible solution for
making the most of an interior space. Room sizes can be changed in
a matter of moments to capitalise on the revenue potential of
commercial space or simply create the most efficient use of floor
space.
2.Acoustics ~ the movable wall is the highest specification range
of fully operable, individual-panel systems. Acoustic insulation of
up to 53 dB noise reduction is achieved with a combination of
acoustic infill’s and operable top and bottom seals.
3.Operation ~ space without a trace ~ when the operable seals are
retracted the panels will glide effortlessly and quietly along the
unique aluminium overhead track system (no need for floor guide).
Final closure of each panel is by a removable operating handle that
extends the seal from the top and bottom of each panel forming an
acoustic seal.
4.Adaptable configurations – The track and carrier system provides
ease of operation and directional flexibility, allowing panel
stacking in countless configurations.
5.Panel options ~ Individual panels can be constructed with either
manual or semi automatic retractable top and bottom seal. Panels
are also available curved or with inset pass doors and glazed cut
outs
Application:
Installation of one of these partitions will divide the domestic
environment, physically or acoustically,
into two or more independent spaces. For example, kitchen/living
room, living room/study, living/sleeping areas, playroom/bedroom,
living room/gym, and double/single rooms.These systems are made up
of independent elements having a convenient minimum thickness of 12
mm or 9 mm.
They slide and position themselves from an overhead ceiling-mounted
aluminium guide.No guide or bottom rollers are necessary. There are
no limits to possible panel surface which include melamine,
laminates, vinyl, fabric, wood.
In this realization, the studio/room environment is separated from
the living room by the movable partition walls covered with
decorated fabric; an original solution combining functionality and
requirement in the choice of materials and colors.
Advantage:
The soundproof partition wall structure is composed of aluminum
profiles, sheets of treated particleboard or MDF and insulation.
The combined structure forms a panel that has a total thickness of
85 mm and depending on the insulation material ensures a soundproof
resistance of 40-49 dB (decibels).
When the operable folding wall system is supported at the ceiling
it runs along an adjustable aluminum upper track that is equipped
with bearings inside of carriages.
This enables the walls height to be adjusted by 15 mm. The
carriages are installed on every second wall panel and are located
at the center of the panel. Because the wall hangs from the
ceiling, it is important for the installation of the wall that the
wall is attached to something solid (concrete ceiling, steel
structure, wood beam etc.).
