Main application areas: 1) Aerospace industry, military industry,
transportation (including auto industry, aircraft industry,

characteristics of magnesium alloys can meet the requirements of
aerospace and other high-tech fields for noise absorption, shock
absorption, and radiation protection of lightweight materials,
which can greatly improve the aerodynamic performance of aircrafts

magnesium alloys have been given priority in the aerospace sector.
The B-36 heavy bombers use 4086kg magnesium alloy plates per rack;
the Lockheed F-80 jet fighter aircraft magnesium plate wings reduce
the number of structural parts from 47758 to 16050; the "Hercules"
rocket uses 600kg of deformed magnesium. Alloy; "Jescarviller"
satellite uses 675kg deformed magnesium alloy; "Vigel" rocket shell
with diameter of about 1m is made of magnesium alloy extruded pipe.
China's fighter planes, bombers, helicopters, transport aircraft,
civil aircraft, airborne radars, surface-to-air missiles, launch
vehicles, artificial satellites, and spacecraft have all adopted
magnesium alloy components: one type of aircraft has selected at
most 300-400 magnesium alloy components. The weight of a part is up
to 300kg; the maximum size of a part is more than 2m. In the
military industry, magnesium alloy plates are needed to increase
the strength of structural components, reduce the weight of
equipment, and increase the hit rate of weapons.
