Movable partition walls description

The BUNGE movable partition wall is aluminum-framed operable partition is the most versatile operable wall constructed today. Partitions are a series of flat panels, approximately range from 600mm(23") to 1200mm(47") wide. They have a wide array of features and options to meet most design and budget requirements. Models are acoustically rated, available in 65mm(2.6") ,80mm(3")or 100mm(4") thick models, and in single, pair hinged configurations.

Movable partition wall system are 2-1/4”tongue-and-groove unitized panel system. Panels are 24” wide, precision laminated, and pre-finished with vinyl, fabric or other specified finish. Panels are manufactured at various heights up to 59’. All vertical and horizontal structural members consist of extruded aluminum components, with a snap-on base made of extruded vinyl. Panels lift into floor and ceiling tracks to form a rigid, uniform wall system that provides excellent sound transmission resistance with a STC rating of 35 to 58dB.

Acoustics

The movable partition walls system offers various levels of sound reduction starting at 35 dB through to 58dB. All of these levels have certification awarded by reputable independent acousticians. They are not based "in-house" test. Copies of certification available on request.

Fire Performance

Class "0" or "1" Spread of Flame Panels are available to your requirements.
This type of product has 1 hour and 1/2 hour fire assessments.

The operablation of movable partition walls

The continuously hinged panels are pulled from their parked position to ‘close’ (or extend) the wall and pushed back to the parked position to ‘open’ (or fold)the wall. Final flat alignment of wall panels is assisted pneumatically by a gas piston located in the top track. A lever or recess handle is fitted to the lead panel and this combined with a vertical rebated profile provides the system with its pass door. The door is available with or without a lock cylinder.

Retractable pressure seals on top and bottom are extended and retracted by a single 180°turn removable operating handle.

Once the movable partition walls panel is positioned, they are sealed in place with retractable pressure seals.

Final closure of the movable partition wall is achieved by extending a telescopic sleeve on the last panel. The sweep strip simultaneously extends the top and bottom. The rubber sealing strip on the side edge of telescopic panelcan seal the wall tightly to reach acoustic integrity.
