The decripition of movable partition walls

The BUNGE development team took on the significant challenge of achieving better sound insulation with a lighter, thinner partition wall – and solved the problem to impressive effect with the SERIES 85 mm which is currently available up to 6000mm high.

The newly developed design exhibits a high degree of imperviousness, complemented by optimized profiles and sealing strips to produce outstanding sound reduction values of up to Rw 58dB with a wall thickness of 85mm, the weight per unit area is also significantly reduced, bringing both structural and handling benefits.

Movable partition walls product range includes acoustic moveable walls up to 17 m high. These conventional manual seal moving walls offer sound reductions up to Rw 60 dB and a 30 minute fire rating.

The panels are manufactured separately to the frame, which means Dorma Variflex has interchangeable panels which are easy to change if one is damaged or scuffed, or the interior design of a room changes later on.

Its high level of flexibility, even in the case of complicated room proportions where sloping ceilings or circular spaces have to be accommodated, ensures that you have all the benefits of optimum functionality.

The application of movable partition walls
