Measurement step:
Turn on the power switch "ON", select the desired voltage level,
tap the indicator light, the light on behalf of the selected
voltage file. Press the high pressure start and stop button, high
pressure indicator light, LCD display value is the measured
insulation resistance value. Turn off the high voltage only need to
press the high voltage button, press the power button “OFF" when
turn off the power.

When measuring the insulation resistance, the line "L" is connected
with the conductive part of the measured object with the grounding
insulation,
ground "E" is connected to the shell of measured object or ground
parts
shielding“G” and the protective shielded part of the measured
object do not connect in the measurement to eliminate the error
caused by instrument leakage.
When measuring the insulation resistance between the components of
an electrical product, it can be terminated by "L" and "E" on any
set of threads. In the measurement of the generator phase
insulation, the three groups can be exchanged, the empty phase
should be safely grounded.

1, The instrument working principle
Insulation resistance tester is consisting of the large-scale
integrated circuits.
This instrument is with large output power, high short circuit
current value, and much output voltage level
(Each model has four kinds of voltage levels).
The working principle is use the self contained battery as a power
supply, DC / DC conversion generated to the DC high voltage, and
then outflow from the E pole, through the test object to reach the
L pole, coming into being a current flowed from E to L pole.
After I / V conversion, complete the operation by the divider,
directly display the measured insulation resistance value by the
LCD.
