Introduction of floating pneumatic fender
Floating pneumatic fenders have been used for around 50 years.It is
the leading anti-collision device for ship use in the world. The
compressed air filled rubber fender is used as a protective medium
for ship-to-ship, ship to quay and ship-to -berthing operation.
Floating pneumatic fenders can be delivered in different sizes. It
has chain and tyre net(CTN) type which is usually recommend to
protect the fender body, but sling type or body only is also
available.
Structure of floating pneumatic fender
Floating pneumatic fender consists of an outer rubber,
reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer, and inner rubber,
vulcanized together firmly.
1. The outer rubbers are used to protect the cord layers and inner
rubber from abrasion
2. The reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer strong enough to
maintain the internal air pressure.
3. The inner rubber layer seals air inside the fender.
4. Fenders diameter larger than 2500mm will be equipped with safety
valve.

Floating pneumatic fender use matters needing attention
1 Pneumatic pressure control in±5% of the rated pressure
2 Test pressure normally, add pressure in a timely manner
3 Avoid contact with sharp objects
4 When Long time not need, should wash to dry, filled with right
amount of compressed air, placed in a cool dry ventilated place.
5 Storage place away from heat, acid and alkali, oil and grease
6 When store, shall not be folded and piled up

The storage of floating pneumatic fender
1.Wash the surface of the fender,dry up and fill in sufficient
right amount of compressed air to lay them in a cool.dry and
well-ventilated place.
2.The storage place should be away from heat.
3.Keep fender away from acid,alkali,grease and organic solvents
4.Fenders can't be piled up and heavy items when fenders are not
used.
