The clamp body and keepers are malleable iron, cotter-pins are
stainless steel, the other parts are hot-dip galvanized steel.
Description
CS Type Aluminum Alloy Suspension Clamp( for Substation) is a kind
of overhead transmission line suspension clamps. It used for fixing
the conductor on the insulator or hanging lightning conductor on
the straight pole&tower, supporting the transposition conductor
which on the transposition pole& tower, and fixing the jumper wire
on the tension pole&tower or angle support. The clamp's main
body& pressing plate are made of aluminum alloy, lock pin is made
of stainless steel, the other parts are made of hot-dip galvanized
steel.
The suspension clamp is used to fix conductors to insulator strings
or hang lightning conductors on straightline towers. Moreover, it
also can be used for transposition towers to support transposition
conductors and for tension towers or angle poles to fix the jumper
wires.
As the suspension clamps are used to ACSR, the conductor may be
wounded by aluminium tapes or preformed armour rods for protecting
protecting these taps or rods are included in the diameter of
suitable conductor.
