How to distinguish the pure nickel strip with nickel plated strip?
Many clients want to buy the pure nickel strip in low price, but
sometimes they can be cheated by supplier who use the nickel plated
steel strip to instead of pure nickel strip.
So how to check the quality for each strip become very important.
It is impossible for us to check the strip by eye or measurement.
The simplest way to distinguish is as follows:
Step 1: Cut the strip into pieces
Step 2: Put the piece into 20% hydrochloric acid and wait
Step 3: After few minutes, if the piece have visible reaction, the
material should be nickel plated steel strip.
