Material heat treatment hardness: HRC58-60.
SKD11 is a high-carbon high-chromium alloy tool steel, high
hardness after heat treatment, with strong hardenability, good
dimensional stability characteristics, suitable for the production
of high-precision long life cold mold and thermosetting plastic
mold.
SKD11 Features: Good toughness and high temperature fatigue
resistance can withstand temperature fusion, suitable for long-term
work at high temperatures Has good cutting performance and
polishing performance.
SKD11 is a thin sheet (thickness not more than 6mm), high
efficiency blanking die. Impression die and stamping die All kinds
of scissors, inserts inlaid, woodworking blade thread rolling dies
and wear-resistant slider cold heading die, thermosetting resin
molding, advanced gauge deep drawing, cold extrusion die.

Heat treatment
Quenching: first preheat 700 ~ 750 ℃, and then heated to 1000 ~
1050 ℃ cooling in still air, such as the thickness of the steel
over 6 inches were heated to 980 ~ 1030 ℃ hardened in the oil
better.
Tempering: heated to 150 ~ 200 ℃, stay in this temperature, and
then cooled in still air. Hardness: HRC 61 or more.
Annealing: heated to 800 ~ 850 ℃, stay at this temperature for 1 to
3 hours, let it in the furnace to let it cool. Forging: 900 ~ 1050
℃.
