Main usage

SKD11 cold work tool steel is easy turning, it can be made of sharp knives, scissors, circular saws, metal stamping dies, forming rolls, cold or hot for the general cold mold dressing, drum edge, screw thread, Round drum, the system of power transformers heart die, cut steel knife, steel forming drum, special forming roller, precision gauge, complicated shape of the cold-pressure tools, metallurgy, tin mold, plastic mold and other molds.

Heat treatment

Quenching: First preheat 700 ~ 750 ℃, and then heated to 1000 ~ 1050 ℃ cooling in still air, such as the thickness of the steel over 6 inches were heated to 980 ~ 1030 ℃ hardened in the oil better.

Tempering: Heated to 150 ~ 200 ℃, stay in this temperature, and then cooled in still air.

Hardness: HRC 61 or more. Annealing: heated to 800 ~ 850 ℃, stay at this temperature for 1 to 3 hours, let it in the furnace to let it cool.

Forging: 1050 ~ 950 ℃.
