Bakelite Phenolic resins Powder are produced by reacting formaldehyde with phenol under acidic conditions. In acid, the reaction forms novolac resins. These resins require a curing agent - often hexamethylenetetramine or hexa.They are not heat-sensitive. After cooled and solidified,it is milled to powder and mixed with around 8-10%of hexamethylenetetramine

Application

Phenolic novolac powders suitable for both semi-cured and fully cured blankets commonly used for climate control, structural parts and sound absorption
