Astilbin can be found in St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum,
Clusiaceae, subfamily Hypericoideae, formerly often considered a
full family Hypericaceae), in Dimorphandra mollis(Fava d'anta,

(Hypericaceae), in the rhizome of Astilbe thunbergii, in the root
