0.55mm Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric For Thermal Insulation Jacket

Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is made of plain, twill or satin woven fiberglass cloth coated with different color silicone on one side or both two sides. E-glass fiber glass fabric is fire resistant, oil and chemical agents resistant and tear resistant. Silicone coating improves its electrical insulation property and corrosion resistance.

Basic cloth of this 0.55mm silicone coated fabric is 430g/m2 satin weave fiberglass fabric. With 80/80 each side grey silicone coating, the final coated fabric is 590g/m2 and 0.55mm.

The basic cloth--fiberglass cloth can resist 550℃ continuously. Silicone coating can withstand heat below 260℃. Base on the fire resistance and other properties, main applications of silicone coated fiberglass fabric are fire/welding blanket, fabric expansion joints, shrink tunnel curtains and removable thermal insulation jacket.
