Introduction of Ball Mill

In mineral separation, only few high-grade ore can be smelt directly after crushing and screening. Most of ores must be grinded to 0.1-0.074mm or even much finer in order to be smelt. Grinding is an important procedure in mineral separation. It's better to use fine mill instead of coarse mill. In fine grinding, the general size of the materials are 65mm and the most suitable size is less than 6mm.

Working Principle

When the materials processing, they are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. Firstly the centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height, then the steel balls impact and grind the materials into fine powder over a period of several hours. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board ,lastly the grinding process is finished.
