what is difference between SMD and DIP led display?
Surface mount LED is referred to as SMD. It is a diode packaged by
SMT technology and soldered on the surface of PCB board. It is
widely used in indoor projects.
Dual in-line package is referred to as DIP. The LED lamp foot is
soldered on the PCB to make it stable, so it is named DIP LED. It
is mainly used in outdoor projects.
Comparison between SMD and DIP. SMD adopts RGB three-color LED cup
technology, which has better color uniformity and wider viewing
angle. Usually SMD can make small-pitch pixels,
