Ferritic Stainless Steels

• Chromium is their major alloying element
• Ductility and formability less than austenitic grades
• Magnetic
• Highly corrosion resistant, less durable than austenitic
• Cannot be hardened by heat treatment
• Contain between 10.5%-27% chromium and very little nickel
• Common grades: part of the 400 series like 409, 410S, 430,430F

• 430Ti is in 430 steel and stainless steel cutting properties of the material. For automatic lathe, bolts and nuts, etc. 430 lx Ti and Nb is added in the 430 steel, to reduce the C content, improve the processing performance and welding performance. Used to heat water tank, heating water system, sanitary ware, family with durable appliance, bicycle flywheel, etc.
