Description:

WEEM 3126 utilizes a specialized abrasive formulation combining Zirconia and Calcined Alumina grains—an optimized solution specifically developed for wood sanding applications. This hybrid blend leverages the complementary strengths of both materials:

Zirconia (typically blue in color) is a tough, self-sharpening synthetic grain designed for heavy-duty stock removal. Its micro-crystalline structure fractures under pressure, continuously exposing fresh, sharp cutting edges. This allows it to last significantly longer than standard aluminum oxide on demanding surfaces.

Calcined Alumina is a heat-treated abrasive that offers enhanced toughness, improved grain retention, and a cooler cutting action compared to conventional fused aluminum oxide. It delivers a more consistent finish and greater resistance to grain dulling under high pressure.

By integrating both abrasive types, WEEM 3126 delivers balanced cutting power, enhanced durability, and improved surface consistency—ideal for high-load wood sanding applications. The belt is anti-static treated to reduce dust loading and heat buildup during sanding.
