The material is the carbon structural steel or ductile iron, and there are two important parts: the main journal, the connecting rod neck.The main journal were installed in the cylinder body, connecting rod neck and the big hole connecting, small head hole and cylinder piston connecting, and it is a typical slider-crank mechanism.

The key technology of heat treatment forthe crankshaft is was surface strengthening processes. Ductile iron crankshaft generally use normalizing process to make preparations for surface treatment .Forging steel crank shaft is adopted shaft neck with round quenching process.

Process:Ingoting-->forging-->first heat treatment--> rough machining -->second heat treatment-->finished machining

Crank shaft is main rotating parts of engine, after mounting connecting rodit can undertake of connecting rod up and down movement into circulation movement, and is important parts of mining machinery and metallurgical machinery.

Forging and Machining Equipment

There are forging, mechanical processing cooperative enterprises and CNC processing base in our company.

In the forging workshop, there are many sets of heavy forging equipment, such as 2000 tons hydraulic press machine, 15 tons forging operator, platform heating furnace, annealing furnace, tempering furnace, etc.

In the machining workshop, there are lots of heavy machining equipment such as heavy horizontal lathes, deep hole drilling, boring machines, and grinding machines, etc.

In the CNC processing base, there are CNC lathes, Jiatai vertical machining center, NC slotting machine, grinders and other ancillary equipment, etc.
