Description:
High Density Right Angel Cartridge Heater consists of MgO powder,
ceramic cap, resistance wire (NiCr20/80),High temperature leads and
seamless stainless steel sheath(304,321,316,800,840).
It is usually used in heating applications by inserting into metal
blocks via a series of drilled holes. Cartridge heaters are
manufactured in two basic forms - high density and low density.
High density cartridge heaters are used to heat plastic injection
moulds, dies, platens and so forth, whereas low density cartridge
heaters are more suitable for packing machinery, heat sealing,
labeling machines and hot stamping applications.
Cartridge heater is a piece of heating elements made of MgO powder
or MgO tube, ceramic cap, resistance wire (NiCr20/80). It is used
to heat in plastic injection moulds, dies, platens ….
Cartridge heater is one of the electric heating elements, which is
widely used in industry mould heating. Compared with the same
heating element of high thermal, cartridge heater can save 5% of
electric materials, and heat efficiency can reach 90%. Cartridge
heater is cylindrical electrical heating elements with stainless
steel sheath, which watt density can reach 25 W/cm2 and their
operating temperature can go up to 800°C (1472°F)
Applications:
Usually, cartridge heaters are used to heat solids such as
injection presses heating plates or various tools; On the other
hand, they are also used for heating up water and gases under
certain conditions. Especially, it is widely used in automotive
