The outstanding protective performance of the PE/XPE/IXPE
low-degree-foaming film is mainly due to its special micro-cellular
structure. The dimensions, the amount per cm3, and the evenly
distribution of the micro aircells directly affect the protective
properties of the product — the more the aircells there are per
cm3, the lighter the foam film, and the better the protective
performance. Test results show that the foamed film by Xinyuan
Greentech has larger number of aircells per cm3, and evenlier
distribution of air-bubbles and higher protection, while peer
products' bubbles distribute unevenly, less in number, and show
larger gaps among bubbles, hence lower protection.
