Installation Instructions

Tools Required:

• Plastic trim removal tool

• Screwdriver (Phillips/Flathead)

• Cable ties

• Electrical tape (if wiring is required)

Installation Steps (General Reference):

1. Disconnect vehicle power: Recommended to disconnect 12V battery negative terminal for safety

2. Remove trunk trim: Use plastic trim removal tool to remove trunk interior trim—exposing camera mounting position and harness connector

3. Disconnect old camera connector: Unplug power and video signal connectors from the original camera

4. Remove old camera: Remove screws or clips securing the camera—remove the old camera assembly

5. Compare & confirm: Verify new part matches old in mounting position, connector type, and structure

6. Install new camera: Position new camera, secure mounting screws/clips

7. Connect harness: Reconnect power and video signal connectors—ensure secure contact

8. Secure harness: Use cable ties to secure wiring—avoid looseness and rattling

9. Reinstall trim: Reinstall trunk interior trim—secure clips and screws

10. Function test: Start vehicle, shift to R gear—verify reverse camera image is clear and normal
