1. Clean the wound area:

   Gently clean the wound and surrounding skin with sterile saline or water, then pat the area dry with sterile gauze.

2. Prepare the dressing:

   Remove the dressing from its packaging, ensuring not to touch the adhesive side.

3. Apply the dressing:

   Carefully remove the backing, then position the dressing over the sacral area so that it fully covers the wound. Gently press down from the center outward to ensure even adhesion.

4. Seal the edges:

   Smooth out the edges to create a complete seal, preventing the dressing from lifting at the edges.

5. Monitor and replace:

   Check the dressing periodically and change it if it becomes saturated, begins to peel, or shows signs of contamination.

6. Gently remove:

   To remove, lift one corner and slowly peel it off, supporting the skin as you go. This helps avoid irritation and damage to healing tissue.
