Product Description
This SATA 15Pin connector Y splitter cable allows a single SATA power output from a PSU or backplane to
supply two drives or other low-voltage electronic devices. One male plug connects to the existing SATA power line,
while two female connectors provide additional outlets for HDD, SSD, optical drives or other
SATA-based peripherals.
Color-coded copper wires (yellow, red, orange and black) clearly indicate 12 V, 5 V, 3.3 V
and ground circuits, ensuring safe power transmission to each device. The compact over-molded housings and crimped terminals deliver reliable contact and mechanical strength, making the
assembly suitable for desktops, workstations, NAS units and compact
server chassis. OEM customization is available for cable length, wire gauge, and integration into
multi-branch harnesses for storage cages, PCB power boards or light
automotive electronics that reuse SATA style connectors.

Applications
Expanding one SATA power plug to feed two HDD / SSD in a PC or NAS
enclosure
Providing additional SATA power outlets for optical drives, fan
controllers or LED modules
Power distribution inside small server racks and industrial control cabinets where PSU outputs are
limited
Retrofit or upgrade projects where existing power harnesses need
extra SATA 15Pin outlets without changing the PSU
Custom PCB backplanes or docking stations that use SATA power style terminals for modular storage bays
Precautions
Check the maximum current rating of the original SATA power rail;
the combined load of both devices must not exceed the PSU and cable
capability.
Confirm correct mating orientation of male and female connectors; misalignment or forced insertion can bend pins or damage housings.
This product is intended for DC power only and does not carry data signal lines. Do not use it as a replacement for SATA data cables.
Avoid sharp bends near the over-molded sections and keep the wire cable away from hot components and moving fan blades to extend service
life.
For large projects, customized splitter harnesses with different
branch lengths, mixed connector types or enhanced jackets for harsh
environments can be supplied.
