Product Description
This assembly integrates a slimline SATA connector for the device side with a standard 7Pin SATA data plug and a 4Pin
low-pitch power connector, providing both signal and power transmission in one compact wire cable harness. The red SATA data cable uses stranded oxygen-free copper
conductors to maintain stable high-speed electronic communication
up to 6 Gb/s, while the black/yellow/red power wires deliver clean DC power from a PSU or PCB header.
Precision-formed terminals and flame-retardant housings ensure secure mating and long-term
reliability in vibrating or high-duty environments such as server racks, DVR systems and industrial controllers. The harness design
supports OEM customization of length, pin definition, connector pitch and over-molding,
making it suitable for integration into storage backplanes,
automotive infotainment units and compact embedded devices where
space-saving cabling is critical.

Applications
Connecting slimline SATA optical drives or 2.5" storage devices to
motherboard or controller cards
Internal cabling for rack-mount servers, NAS, and industrial
recorders using custom power headers
Embedded systems and small form factor PCs where device power is
taken from a 4Pin PCB connector rather than a standard PSU lead
Upgrading or replacing factory storage harnesses in
instrumentation, kiosks and multimedia terminals
Custom electronic equipment requiring a combined data-and-power connector solution instead of separate loose cables
Precautions
Verify the pin-out of the 4Pin power header and slimline SATA connector before installation; incorrect mapping of pins can damage drives or controller boards.
Ensure total current through the power wires does not exceed the rating of the harness or the mating terminals.
Avoid tight bends or repeated twisting near the molded connectors
to protect conductors and maintain stable data transmission.
Route the cable away from sharp metal edges, hot components and
moving fans; secure it with clips or ties for strain relief.
Variants with different host connectors (straight SATA, eSATA,
multi-drop harness, mixed power-only leads) can be supplied to
match project-specific electronic or automotive applications.
