from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) through processes such as hot
extrusion.

PET Strapping Stress Test
Stress Method: When you tear the strap by hand, a tensile force
(tearing force) is applied parallel to the strap surface and in the
opposite direction.
The slit made by scissors has a very sharp notch at its end.
When tensile force is applied, all the stress is highly
concentrated at the tip of this notch. The actual stress here can
be tens or even hundreds of times the average stress.
This extremely high local stress far exceeds the tensile strength
of PET in the transverse direction and makes it less prone to
cracking.

bonded by electric heating, friction, and hot melt, suitable for
future tool strapping:
