Scope of application:

The assessment of arc resistance performance of electrical insulation materials such as plastics, resin adhesives, and insulating paints used in industries such as motors, appliances, and household appliances is mainly applicable to the testing of arc resistance performance of solid insulation materials such as plastics, films, resins, mica, ceramics, glass, insulating oil, insulating paint, cardboard, and other media.

Experimental principle:

Used to test the arc resistance of solid insulation materials; The material to be tested will be exposed to a high voltage, gradually increasing small current environment until a stable conductive channel is formed on the surface of the material. This time is the arc resistance time of the material.
