2) Characteristics of Double Helix Gears
Characterised by a symmetrical ‘V’ shape distribution of the tooth
profile, with no separate intermediate spacer sleeve (or featuring
a narrow spacer sleeve), and two sections of helical teeth
possessing equal helix angles in opposite directions; Advantages
include: first, self-balancing axial forces eliminating the need
for additional axial positioning structures, thereby reducing
bearing loads and extending transmission system lifespan; second,
high load-carrying capacity with tooth contact area 40%-60% larger
