Working principle of control valve
The working principle of a pneumatic diaphragm-type stainless steel
control valve is to regulate the flow rate of the medium in the
pipeline by driving the valve disc displacement through the force
balance of the pneumatic diaphragm actuator. The specific process
is as follows:
When a control signal (pneumatic signal or electro-pneumatic
converted pneumatic signal) is input to the air chamber of the
pneumatic diaphragm actuator, a pressure difference is generated on
both sides of the diaphragm, pushing the push rod to drive the
valve stem and valve disc to move linearly along the valve seat
axis.
Flow rate regulation: The flow area between the valve disc and the
valve seat changes with the displacement of the valve disc, thereby
achieving precise regulation of the medium flow rate.
Force balance control: The unbalanced force generated by the valve
disc under the action of medium pressure is balanced with the
output force of the pneumatic diaphragm actuator, ensuring that the
valve disc remains stable at the specified opening degree,
achieving stable flow control.
This type of control valve, with its corrosion resistance of
stainless steel and the precise control characteristics of the
pneumatic diaphragm actuator, is suitable for pipeline systems in
the petroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries where
precise flow and pressure requirements are necessary.
