SH017A Automatic Paraffin Penetrometer/Instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the GB/T4985-2021 standard. It is a dedicated instrument for testing paraffin penetration, integrating mechanical, optoelectronic, and micro detection technology. The lifting arm automatically lifts, the touch screen fine adjusts the distance, automatically determines the results, and automatically prints.

The standard test conditions are as follows: The petroleum wax sample is placed in a constant temperature water bath maintained at the test temperature, and a standard needle assembly with a total load of 100 grams ± 0.05 grams moves vertically without significant friction. The depth of penetration of the petroleum wax sample vertically within 5 seconds is called the petroleum wax penetration to determine the hardness of the petroleum wax.
