Product Description
This is a clamp-type manual butterfly valve, which is used to
manually control the on/off and flow of media (water, gas, liquid,
etc.) in fluid pipeline systems (such as water supply and drainage,
HVAC, light industry, etc.).
Core Components & Functions
Valve body (blue part):
Mostly made of ductile iron, it has high strength and impact
resistance, suitable for clamp installation (bolts are used to
penetrate the pipe flanges on both sides and clamp the valve body
to fix it), saving space and flexible installation, suitable for
narrow pipelines or renovation projects.
The internal black rubber is the valve seat seal, which cooperates
with the valve plate to block the leakage of the medium when closed
and ensure the sealing (rubber can be selected as EPDM, nitrile,
etc. as needed, suitable for different acid, alkali and temperature
media).
Valve plate (silver disc in the middle):
The core of the pipeline "switch", rotating around the central axis
(0°-90°) to control the on/off / flow. Due to manual operation, the
valve plate needs to be wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant
(such as stainless steel or surface spraying), extend life, and
cope with frequent opening and closing.
Actuator (black handle + valve body):
Manual drive: The black handle is the operating part. When it is turned, it
drives the valve plate to rotate through the worm/gear transmission
(the handle turns several times, and the valve plate turns 90°),
realizing "open/close/adjustment". The structure is simple and
reliable, does not require electricity/gas source, is easy to
maintain, and is suitable for scenarios with low automation
requirements.
Application & Advantages
Scenarios: Community tap water inlet branch pipes, small factory cooling
water circuits, HVAC terminal equipment (such as fan coil units),
etc. - For example, the kitchen drainage pipeline of a shop is
manually shut off for maintenance; the small boiler water supply
pipeline is used to adjust the water supply volume.
Advantages: Manual operation is intuitive, low cost, and suitable for small
flow and low pressure scenarios; the clamp installation is
flexible, and there is no need to significantly change the pipeline
during transformation/repair; the rubber soft seal is suitable for
clean media, with good sealing and low noise (quieter when water
impacts the valve plate).

mechanical structure + manual operation to solve the fluid control
needs of small pipelines. It is economical and practical.
