3-Layer PE Coating System Heat Shrink Sleeve for Oil Gas Pipeline Joint Closure Repair Protection
Huashida HDPE Plastic Heat Shrink Sleeve Tape is a type of heat shrink anti-corrosion material designed for anti-corrosion and insulation joint repair of buried steel pipelines, and can also be used for sealing and anti-corrosion of pipeline flange connections. It is composed of radiation cross-linked polyolefin substrate and special sealing hot melt adhesive.
INSTRUCTION
PE-backed heat shrinkable sleeve (HSS) for the pipeline is composed of two layers: radiation cross-linked polyethylene backing and special heat melt adhesive. The heat shrinkable sleeve is applied together with a solvent-free two-component epoxy primer to form a three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion coating (3LPE), which replicates the structure and performance of 3LPE coating in factory conditions, providing effective and long-term anti-corrosion for the welding joint of the steel pipe.
During installation, the epoxy is applied to the prepared pipe surface and the heat-shrinkable sleeve is immediately wrapped around the joint over the wet epoxy. Heat is then applied to the sleeve which shrinks to form a tight fit around the joint. While curing, the epoxy forms strong mechanical and chemical bonds to the pipe surface and to the copolymer adhesive layer. The radiation cross-linked outer layer forms a tough barrier against mechanical damage and moisture transmission.
Application area:
It is mainly used for wrapping around the pipe, anti-corrosion of kinds of pipe joints, and repairing pipes.
For example Oil and gas pipe, PU insulation pipe, 3PE/2PE steel pipe.

no more than 14 months from the date of delivery. After this period
we are obliged to provide with lifelong service at the expense of
Buyer.During the warranty period we are responsible to provide trouble
shootings and help the customer to solve the problems, provide
spare parts which are broken, except breakings caused by the Buyer.We will provide the technical service train the workers from the
buyers for free.We can also send technicians to the buyer's companies abroad for
help installation and testing the lines. But the buyer shall pay
for the round trip tickets, accommodation, transportation, medicine
treatment and insurance of the technicians in foreign countries and
some salary accordingly.
