Fireproof and Heat Resistant Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Cloth for
Industrial Protection and Insulation
Description
This foiled fiberglass fabric is made from high-quality 3732 woven
fiberglass cloth (430 g/m²) laminated with a reflective aluminum
foil layer. The finished composite fabric provides enhanced heat
reflection and insulation performance.
Total weight: 480 g/m²
Total thickness: 0.43 mm
The 3732 fiberglass base fabric performs reliably in continuous
temperatures ranging from -50°C to 260°C (-58°F to 500°F),
withstanding brief exposure to even higher temperatures. The foil
adhesive layer—made of hydrogel or acrylate adhesive—is recommended
for use below 300°C, ensuring strong and durable bonding between
the fiberglass and aluminum layers.
The aluminum foil significantly improves heat resistance and
radiant heat reflection, while also providing moisture and chemical
resistance. Though aluminum melts at high temperatures, it requires
sustained heat to reach that point, allowing the fabric to tolerate
short-term exposure above its rated temperature.
Aluminum foil thickness options: 7 μm, 18 μm, 25 μm, 50 μm (max)
Common widths: 100 cm / 127 cm / 150 cm
Roll length: 50–100 meters
This composite material is widely used for thermal insulation, heat
shields, engine and equipment protection, welding curtains, and
fire-resistant barriers.
