The relationship between TPE and Tpu

TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is a broad category of materials that combine rubber elasticity and plastic processability, encompassing sub-types like SBS, SEBS, and TPU. TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a specific subset of TPE, with polyurethane as its matrix.
Both share key traits: no vulcanization required, elastic at room temperature, processable at high temperatures, recyclable, and widely used in footwear and electronics.
