Compared to iron oxide polishing powder, cerium oxide polishing powder has higher hardness, larger particles, and a polygonal shape, resulting in stronger polishing capability. Additionally, cerium oxide has a high melting point, greater density, and a higher energy crystal lattice, along with the fact that cubic system materials exert greater abrasion force on glass than monoclinic system materials, which further enhances its superior polishing performance.
