Manufacturing Process The typical process is as follows:
Yarn Production: High-tenacity polyester yarns are produced.
Weaving/Knitting: The yarns are woven or knitted into a grid-like
structure.
Coating: The open grid fabric is passed through a bath of molten
PVC or PVC paste,
fully encapsulating each individual yarn.
Heat Setting: The coated grid is passed through an oven that cures
and sets the PVC coating,
ensuring a strong bond to the polyester core.
Aperture Formation: The process is controlled to maintain the open
apertures (holes) of the grid,
which are essential for soil interlock.
