    As an energy-saving oxygen production equipment, VPSA Oxygen Generator applies vacuum pressure swing adsorption technology with molecular sieves as the core. It adsorbs impurities such as nitrogen in the air through low pressure, and then evacuates by vacuum pumps to regenerate adsorbents, continuously producing high-purity oxygen. Its automatic operation requires no complex manual intervention, with simple maintenance and strong environmental adaptability, covering multiple application fields such as metallurgy, chemical industry, medical care and environmental protection.

This makes it more accessible for small and medium-sized enterprises.


    The small footprint is another key advantage. A 100Nm³/h VPSA system requires only 15-20 square meters of installation space, including the generator, pre-treatment equipment, and control cabinet. In contrast, a cryogenic plant of the same capacity requires 50-80 square meters due to the need for large storage tanks and cooling equipment. This is particularly important for factories with limited space or projects that require on-site temporary oxygen supply.


    Energy efficiency and environmental friendliness are in line with the global trend of carbon reduction. The energy consumption of VPSA is 0.32-0.38kWh/Nm³, which is much lower than the 0.6-0.8kWh/Nm³ of cryogenic distillation. For a 1000Nm³/h generator operating 24 hours a day, it can save 6,720-11,520 kWh of electricity per month, reducing carbon emissions by 5-9 tons. Additionally, VPSA does not use refrigerants or chemical solvents, and the only emission is nitrogen (harmless to the environment), making it a green and environmentally friendly oxygen production technology.


    The long service life of key components ensures stable operation for a long time. The adsorption tower is made of carbon steel or stainless steel with anti-corrosion treatment, with a service life of 15-20 years; the molecular sieve has a service life of 5-8 years; the blower and vacuum pump, if maintained properly, can operate for 8-10 years. The overall service life of the equipment is 10-15 years, which is equivalent to that of cryogenic plants, but with lower maintenance costs during operation.

    Transportation Solutions for Different Scales

    Transportation solutions for VPSA Oxygen Generators vary according to the equipment scale and transportation distance. For small to medium-sized complete units (≤200Nm³/h), road transportation is the most convenient. The equipment is loaded onto a flatbed truck or enclosed van truck, fixed with steel cables and anti-slip mats. The transportation route should be planned in advance to avoid roads with severe potholes or weight restrictions. For example, a 100Nm³/h generator (weight 2-3 tons) can be transported by a 5-ton truck, and the transportation time should be minimized to avoid prolonged exposure to harsh environments.


    For large-scale modular systems (≥500Nm³/h), split transportation is necessary. The system is divided into multiple modules: adsorption tower module, control system module, blower module, vacuum pump module, and pre-treatment module. Each module is packaged independently and transported by container truck or sea container. The adsorption tower module (weight 5-10 tons) requires a flatbed container with a reinforced base, and the control system module is placed in a 20-foot standard container with shockproof packaging.


    For international transportation, sea freight is the primary choice. The modules are loaded into 20-foot or 40-foot containers, and the container is fumigated to meet the import requirements of the destination country. The transportation documents should include a packing list (detailing the weight and dimensions of each module), a commercial invoice, and a certificate of origin. The molecular sieve module must be sealed with nitrogen and labeled with "Hazardous Goods Class 2.2 (Non-Flammable Gas)" to comply with international maritime regulations.
