>115°C, silicone or high-temperature EPDM should be prioritized.
- Chemical Compatibility: New-generation OAT/HOAT coolants contain
carboxylic acids, which have a slight erosive effect on silicone
rubber; 1000-hour immersion testing is required.
- Installation Bending: Bending radius ≥3×OD, avoid twisting; worm
gear type stainless steel 304 clamps are recommended, with torque
of 2.5~3 N·m.
- Failure Symptoms: Adhesive outer rubber, localized bulging, clamp
indentation cracks, cold start leakage powder marks; proactive
replacement is recommended at 60,000~80,000 km.
