Chassis is the one-stop solution for OEM/ODM projects that demand
light weight, high strength and rock-solid EMC performance in only
44.45 mm of rack height. Located in Shenzhen’s high-tech corridor,
our 18 000 m² facility houses a complete vertical chain: 6 kW
fiber-laser cutting, CNC punching, 300 t press brakes, 5-axis
aluminum milling, robotic MIG/TIG welding, brush-finishing,
silk-screen and Class-8 clean-room assembly. Every chassis starts
with 1.5 mm 5052-H32 aluminum sheet selected for its 33 % weight
saving versus steel and superior thermal conductivity of 138 W m⁻¹
K⁻¹, critical for passively cooled network appliances.
After laser blanking, sides are formed in a single hit on a CNC
press brake with 0.1° crowning to guarantee ≤0.2 mm twist across
19″ ears—vital for slide-rail compatibility in vibration-rich
telecom huts. Extruded 6063-T5 heat-sink rails are friction-stir
welded along the top plane, creating an integral 20 mm fin array
that adds 30 % surface area without external heatsinks, lowering
CPU delta-T by 6 °C in 35 °C ambient. All edges are deburred and
poly-bead blasted to a uniform Ra 0.8 µm, then clear-anodized to 15
µm for 500 h salt-spray resistance and a fingerprint-resistant
matte silver finish; black or custom RAL hard-coat options are
available for an additional 200 h protection.
Inside, the mono-block frame accepts full-size ATX, Micro-ATX or
proprietary 13″ × 10″ motherboards on a removable 2 mm tray fitted
with PEM floating clinch nuts, allowing field replacement in under
60 seconds. Drive capacity scales from two hot-swap 3.5″ bays to
six tool-less 2.5″ NVMe carriers molded from conductive PPE that
suppress 25 dB of radiated emissions at 2.4 GHz. Front and rear
bulkheads are CNC-milled from 3 mm plate and can be supplied blank,
with pre-punched VGA/USB cut-outs, or populated with your choice of
LC fiber, RJ-45, or M12 X-coded feed-throughs—each panel gasketed
with 0.5 mm conductive silicone to maintain IP40 sealing.
Electromagnetic compatibility is engineered-in: continuous 6 mm
beryllium-copper finger stock along the lid seam plus stainless
mesh backing on 66 % open-area ventilation slots yields 40 dB
shielding effectiveness from 30 MHz to 1 GHz, meeting CE/FCC Class
A without costly secondary shields. A 25 × 25 mm copper ground bar
is riveted to the floor and tied to a M4 stud rated for 30 A surge,
satisfying GR-1089-CORE and IEC 62368-1 requirements.
Thermal options range from passive convection to active 40 mm
dual-counter-rotating fans (10.2 CFM each) mounted on silicone
grommets that cut transmitted vibration by 18 dB. A snap-in duct
can be rotated 180° to support front-to-rear or reversed airflow,
making the chassis equally at home in broadcast OB-vans or
data-center cold aisles. Shock resistance is validated on a 3-axis
vibration table to MIL-STD-810G 514.6 Cat 4, ensuring survival in
rolling stock or shipboard racks.
Design turnaround is measured in hours, not weeks. Upload a STEP
file Monday morning and receive a DFM report plus CNC-milled
prototype Tuesday evening; production lots from 50 to 50 000 units
ship in 10–12 days with laser-etched serial numbers, barcode labels
and your logo silk-screened in UV-stable black. All processes are
