Application:
Camshaft Position Sensor 1807339C92 is engineered for the Navistar
DT466E, DT530E and Perkins 1300 series turbocharged diesel engines
(7.6 L and 8.7 L). These engines are widely used in agricultural
tractors (Massey Ferguson 8100 series), combine harvesters (MF
IDEAL 7/8), generator sets from 150 kVA to 350 kVA, medium-duty
trucks and vocational vehicles such as Ford E-350, E-450, E-550,
F-250 and F-350 Super Duty (1997-2003), plus industrial compressors
and drilling rigs operating in both on- and off-highway
environments worldwide.
Technical specifications:
Thread interface M12 × 1.5 with 19 mm hex and 30 mm probe reach for
direct mounting into the timing-gear cover adjacent to the camshaft
reluctor wheel. Output signal is digital Hall-effect, 3-wire, 8–32
Vdc supply, 0–8 kHz frequency range corresponding to 0–4 000 r/min
camshaft speed, with built-in reverse-polarity and load-dump
protection to +40 Vdc.
Material & performance features:
Probe body is precision-machined from 1.4305 (AISI 303) stainless
steel for superior resistance to engine oil, coolant splash and
road salt; the sensing tip is over-moulded in high-temperature PPS
polymer rated to 150 °C and houses a rare-earth magnet for stable
signal amplitude across the full temperature envelope.
