Application:
Water Temperature Sensor T410501 is purpose-built for the modern
1100 and 1200 electronic engine families—1104D, 1106D and 1206F
turbocharged diesels that inherit the cylinder-head coolant gallery
layout of the long-standing T4.236 and AT4.236 4.0 L platform.
These engines continue to power agricultural tractors, combine
harvesters, generator sets and industrial machinery worldwide,
where accurate coolant-temperature feedback is essential for
emissions control and engine protection.
Technical specifications:
Thread 3/8-18 NPTF, hex 19 mm, probe length 43 mm. The sensing
element is a negative-temperature-coefficient (NTC) thermistor
calibrated 2.2 kΩ ±3 % at 25 °C, falling to 180 Ω ±5 % at 100 °C,
producing a seamless 0–5 V ratiometric signal to the engine control
module.
Material & performance features:
The probe shell is forged from lead-free brass and nickel-plated to
resist cavitation and glycol-based coolants. The sensing tip is
over-moulded in high-temperature PPS, then potted in epoxy for
complete vibration and moisture immunity.
