Application:
Water Temperature Sensor 385720510 is purpose-built for the Perkins
400 Series engines—402D-05, 403C-15, 403D-07, 403D-11, 403D-15,
403D-15T, 404D-15 and 404D-22 naturally aspirated and turbo-charged
diesels (2.2 L to 4.4 L). These compact power units are widely used
in Massey Ferguson 1700/1800/2400/3400 orchard and utility
tractors, mini-excavators, skid-steer loaders, 30–120 kVA generator
sets, forklift trucks, irrigation pumps and light construction
equipment operating in agricultural, landscaping and
material-handling markets worldwide.
Technical specifications:
Thread interface M14 × 1.5 parallel with 19 mm hex and 18 mm probe
reach for direct insertion into the thermostat housing or
cylinder-head coolant gallery. Sensing range –40 °C to +140 °C via
a precision NTC thermistor calibrated 2 500 Ω @ 20 °C, 300 Ω @ 80
°C, 120 Ω @ 110 °C, tolerance ±2 %. Electrical connection is a
two-pin sealed Deutsch DT04-2P, IP67 rated, vibration-resistant to
50 g, overall sensor length 52 mm, weight 46 g.
Material & performance features:
Probe body is machined from 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) stainless steel for
complete immunity to glycol, long-life OAT coolants and galvanic
corrosion; a copper crush-washer and fluorosilicone O-ring
guarantee leak-free sealing up to 3 bar system pressure.
