    Application:

    The 9520A310G pump is engineered for Perkins 1104C-44T and 1104D-44T direct-injection turbo-diesel engines (4.4 L, 4-cylinder) that power mid-range agricultural tractors such as the Massey Ferguson 5400- and 6400-series, combine harvesters like the MF 7200-series, mobile generator sets from FG Wilson and Pramac, plus compact wheel loaders and telehandlers built by JCB and Manitou. It is calibrated to deliver precise fuel metering at rated speeds of 2 200 – 2 400 r/min and peak torque speeds of 1 400 – 1 600 r/min under Tier II/Tier III emission levels.


    Technical specifications:

    The pump body is a one-piece cast-iron housing with integral steel-bushed camshaft journals and hardened distributor head. Plunger diameter is 11 mm with a maximum stroke of 8.5 mm and a peak injection pressure of 1 600 bar. The internal transfer pump supplies 180 L/h at 500 kPa feed pressure; automatic altitude compensation is handled by an aneroid capsule rated −400 m to +3 000 m above sea level. The timing advance piston provides 6° of automatic advance from 1 000 to 2 400 r/min. Mounting flange conforms to SAE J744 size 2, pilot Ø101.6 mm with four M10 threaded holes on 146 mm PCD. Drive coupling accepts 13 mm wide Woodruff key and is dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 G2.5. All sealing gaskets are fluorocarbon (FKM) for biodiesel compatibility up to B20.


    Material & performance features:

    Critical moving parts—plunger and barrel assemblies—are made from case-hardened 16MnCr5 alloy steel, precision lapped to 1 µm clearance for minimal leakage and long-term metering accuracy. The camshaft is forged from 42CrMo4 steel, induction-hardened to 58 HRC on the lobes to resist pitting under high transient loads. An advanced DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating on the roller tappets cuts friction by 25 % compared with standard nitrided surfaces, while a composite PTFE-reinforced governor sleeve reduces stick-slip and ensures stable idle speed. The pump head uses high-strength aluminium-bronze hydraulic passages to prevent cavitation erosion, and the electromagnetic shut-off valve is encapsulated in a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide housing for IP67 moisture protection. A torsional vibration damper integrated into the drive hub limits torsional amplitude to <0.2°, extending both pump and engine gear-train life.
