Functions

• Analog - to - Digital Conversion: The primary function of ADC-10-4+ is to convert continuous analog signals into discrete digital values. It samples the analog signal at regular intervals and quantizes its amplitude into a corresponding digital value. This process includes two key steps: sampling and quantization. Sampling is to measure the analog signal at discrete time intervals, and quantization is to assign a digital code to each sample according to its amplitude.
• Encoding: After quantization, the ADC-10-4+ converts the quantized samples into a digital output format that can be processed by digital systems. The most common encoding method is binary encoding, and the digital output can be in various forms, such as parallel or serial data.
• Reference Voltage Comparison: It uses a reference voltage or current to compare with the input analog signal, so as to determine the scale of the conversion. For example, when converting a voltage signal, if the reference voltage is 5V, the ADC will represent all input voltages between 0V and 5V.

• Sensor Data Processing: In various sensor systems, such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors and humidity sensors, ADC-10-4+ can convert the analog signals output by sensors into digital signals, so that microcontrollers or processors can process these data and make corresponding control decisions.
• Digital Communication Systems: It plays a crucial role in modern communication networks. For example, in mobile phones, the speech of the user is captured as an analog signal by the microphone, and then the ADC-10-4+ is used to convert the signal into a digital format, which can be compressed and transmitted through digital communication networks.
• Audio and Video Systems: ADC-10-4+ can convert continuous audio and video data into digital form for processing and reproduction in multimedia systems. This enables functions such as audio effects, video editing, and digital multimedia content transfer.
• Medical Devices2: In medical instruments such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) and medical imaging systems, ADC-10-4+ is used to convert bio - electrical signals or imaging data into digital form for analysis and diagnosis, helping medical staff to obtain more accurate patient information.
• Industrial Control Systems: In industrial production, ADC-10-4+ can convert analog signals related to production process parameters (such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.) into digital signals, providing important data support for industrial automation control, so as to realize the precise control and monitoring of the production process.
