AD9058AJD is a dual-channel, 8-bit, 50 MSPS (Mega Samples Per Second) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI).

It is available in a 48-CDIP (Ceramic Dual In-line Package).

1. Functional Overview

The AD9058AJD performs high-speed analog-to-digital conversion. Each of its two ADC channels can sample an analog input signal at rates up to 50 million times per second, converting the instantaneous voltage into an 8-bit digital value.

Its flash architecture enables these high-speed conversions. The device features a low input capacitance, minimizing loading on the input signal source. The internal reference voltage simplifies system design by providing a stable basis for conversion, though an external reference can also be used.

The digital outputs are provided in parallel format and are compatible with TTL logic levels.
