The tissue softness tester is a test instrument that simulates the softness of the hand.

Test principle

Under the specified conditions, when the sample is pressed into a certain depth (about 8mm) by the plate probe of the softness meter, the sum of the maximum vector of the anti-bending force of the sample itself and the friction force between the sample and the gap is called softness, which is expressed in millinewtons. The smaller the softness value, the softer the sample is.
