Gravity Rack is a high-density storage system designed to optimize
warehouse space and improve efficiency. It uses inclined roller
tracks or flow rails to move goods automatically from the loading
side to the picking side under the force of gravity. This ensures
smooth product rotation and supports First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory management.
Working Principle
Pallets, cartons, or totes are loaded from the rear of the rack.
The lanes are built on a slight incline, allowing goods to roll
forward toward the picking face.
When the front load is removed, the next automatically advances to
the picking position.
Loading and picking are carried out on separate aisles, minimizing
congestion and improving safety.
